Membership Agreement

1) PNWAP will never use any of your photographs without your permission, and will never require you to sell or transfer ownership of your photographs to anyone
2) All content contributed to PNWAP by it’s members remains the property of the contributing member, no other member may use it without permission
3) Members of PNWAP agree to pay a membership fee annually, this fee will cover the basic operating costs of the organization
4) Members agree to abide by the PNWAP Code of Conduct and Membership Agreement at all times while a member of PNWAP.  If a member would like to leave the organization, they must present written notice to the head of PNWAP.  No amount of the membership fee will be refunded
5) Failure to abide by the PNWAP Code of Conduct and Membership Agreement will result in severance from PNWAP, your membership fee will not be refunded, nor will any advance payments made to attend special PNWAP events.  All of the content you have contributed to the organization will be deleted unless otherwise agreed
6) In the case of any non-legal disputes between members of the organization, or between a member and the organization itself, every effort will be made to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement.  If the parties cannot be reconciled then the matter will be settled by a hearing of the three most senior PNWAP members, and this hearing may result in the severance of one or more members of PNWAP.  Members agree to abide by the conclusion of this hearing
7) All members of PNWAP agree to practice safe and responsible photography, always obeying any posted notices in the area, as well as local, state, and federal laws of what may and may not be photographed
8) PNWAP will occasionally offer unique opportunities to get much closer to operating aircraft than is normally possible.  PNWAP will strive to make these opportunities as safe as possible, but there is an inherent level of risk involved in photographing operational aircraft up close.  At no time will you take part in one of these opportunities if you have any concerns about the safety of the activity.  While you are participating in these special activities, you agree that you are 100% responsible for your own safety
9) All members understand that being a member of PNWAP does not grant any special access or permissions except those specifically granted to the organization and stated on our website
10) All members recognize that PNWAP will be successful only as long as we are viewed favorably by local airports, aircraft owners, aircraft operators, spotters, hobbyists, and law enforcement.  Being a member of PNWAP is not a “get out of jail free card” if you are caught shooting something or somewhere you should not be
